Divorce & Separation A Spiritual Growth Process

As a psychotherapist specializing in attachment-focused, body-based therapies, I draw on nature, creativity, and Spirit for healing.

One aspect of my work that I love is leading healing hikes for women navigating relationship transitions. These guided Hikes provide a space for women to support each other and learn how breakups can trigger fight or flight responses, leading to negative beliefs about themselves and their futures. Through these experiences, participants gain insight into how their emotional state shapes their narrative, ultimately empowering them to take control of their healing.

The concept of ‘story follows state’ is central to this approach. During our Hikes, we learn tools for nervous system regulation. By understanding how our nervous system influences our perceptions (for example, feeling that our future looks bleak due to activated fight or flight responses), we can begin to challenge and reshape our narratives.
